Katy Perry 'KatyCat' & Nicki Minaj 'Her Minajesty' Barbie Dolls for charity

Mattel has always brought forth celebrity Barbie dolls which have been quite a success. Their latest venture is the Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj Barbie dolls, showcased at Divine Design’s five-day event and gala starting December 7, 2011 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The proceeds of the auction will benefit Project Angel Food, which provides food for men, woman and children affected by HIV and AIDS. Nicki Minaj’s “Minajesty” doll is an amazing replica of the singer, with her cotton-candy pink hair, and the frothy silk charmeuse and shimmery tulle dress from her Pink Friday album cover, and looks utterly adorable. The Katy Perry doll is all cupcakes, candy and frosting, from top to bottom in her trademark bubblegum look and flirty bright blue hair. Inspired by Katy’s yum cupcake dress, her replica is just as funky as the singer herself with 70 hand-painted cupcakes, a glittered bodice and fishnet stocking with Swarovski crystals. I would love to get my hands on KatyCat, brings out the little child in me. Both are estimated to be worth $15,000, and you can bid on them at CharityBuzz.com.
