Katy Perry turns up as a superhero, receives award with elegance, and turns into a butterfly for her performance at the MuchMusic Video Awards 2012

Twenty-seven year old Katy Perry rocked her signature looks of style, elegance, and glamour at the MuchMusic Video Awards 2012. Katy turned up at the event dressed as a superhero in a draping black and gold gown with sleek purple hair. The gold halter neck design combined with a snakeskin body and fell into a sheer black gown. As she went onto receive her award, Katy was dressed in an elegant black and cream dress with a lace body, with hair done into a ponytail. For her performance of 'Wide Awake' Katy was reborn as a butterfly, first emerging out of a cocoon, performing in a too nude bodysuit with sparkles all over, then opening up amazing wings. She certainly dazzled in all her looks, and was the celebrity of the night.
