Karl Lagerfeld stayed true to his love for vintage and brought forth a couture collection for Fall 2012 that was feminine and classy. The theme for the collection was 'New Vintage' and a contrast between old and new was seen with tailored pants and sophisticated gowns. Gorgeous hues of colors were seen including light pinks and greys, ivory and cream, with patchwork and crystal embellishments. The vintage silhouettes were made to look modern with the inclusion of belts and metallic sleeveless, and layering was also done with overcoats and jackets. The Chanel Couture Fall 2012 collection included over sixty designs, and we would love to see Carine Roitfeld and Keira Knightley flaunting some of them.
