Celebrity Fashion at the 2013 Oscars
Halle Berry charmed in a black and silver Versace gown which was form fitting and highlighted the actress's curves. The striped sequinned dress had structured shoulders and long sleeves with a plunging neckline. Halle paired the look with black drop earrings and a chic messy hairdo.
British singing sensation and up for an Oscar, Adele, continued with her streak of black gowns and wore a Jenny Packham number. The embellished floor length gown was striking against Adele's fair complexion and was slightly tucked in at the waist. She paired the look with Harry Winston diamond jewels with her signature cat eyes.
Amy Adams opted for a princess-like Oscar de la Renta gown which was strapless and had fluffy layers of feathery tulle that fell long on the red carpet. Amy's elegant look was style with diamond drop earrings and a braided rope bracelet. We adore her soft makeup look with petal pink lips.
'The Blind Side' star Sandra Bullock sizzled in a black gown from the Elie Saab Spring 2013 collection. The couture gown flaunted Sandra's trim body, and the heavy beading made her a true Hollywood star. The cap-sleeved gown was paired with Harry Winston jewels and a Swarovski clutch.
Hands down Anne Hathaway is our choice of Best Supporting Actress, and she was dressed to win. The star opted for a pale pink Prada gown. The halter neck column gown was quite delicate and looked well with the actress's delicate self. The open criss-cross back of the dress was styled with a back floral necklace from Tiffany & Co. Anne also wore silver heels and carried a Roger Vivier clutch with her Prada look.
Jennifer Garner, in line to support her husband for his big night, wore a purple Gucci dress with ruffles at the back. The strapless dress was custom made and Jennifer added glamour and luxury to her look with her $2.5 million worth of Neil Lane jewels. A Riger Vivier clutch completed her style.
Naomi Watts sizzled in a custom Giorgio Armani Prive gown. The grey-silver gown had sexy shoulder cutouts with sequins all over. Naomi wisley paired her bling look with minimal jewels including diamond drop earrings, a bracelet, and a cocktail ring. Rosy cheeks and a matching pink lip accompanied her look for the event.
Kristen Stewart broke her line of Balenciaga gowns and opted for a pale Reem Acra number. The rock-chic actress turned to her feminine side and looked well in the tulle couture gown. Her strapless bossom was highlighted with a Fred Leighton diamond necklace, with tousled waves and smoky eyes. Kristen also wore Jimmy Choo heels with her look.
Jennifer Aniston looked red hot in a Valentino Couture gown from the Spring 2013 collection. The dress had a strapless bodice with a full skirt and Jennifer was sultry, and 43 going on 30 in her sexy attire. A matching Salvatore Ferragamo clutch, diamond earrings and bracelet were her choice of accessories, with her signature hairstyle of sleek loose hair.
Charlize Theron kept it elegant in a white number of a Dior Haute Couture gown. The strapless dress had an embroidery detail on the peplum look, and was paired with Harry Winston diamond jewellery. Charlize also kept the makeup look natural, although a red lip would have spiced up her attire.
Amanda Seyfried, looked beautiful in a halter neck Alexander McQueen dress, which had gold dragon fly embroidery on the lilac gown. The subtle attire had a keyhole detail neckline, and Amanda styled it Lorraine Schwartz earrings and a soft pastel makeup look. With the plethora of pale gown on the red carpet, Amanda stood out in the limelight.
Jennifer Lawrence, up for Best Actress, wore a Dior Haute Couture gown which was pale pink. The face of Dior, looked ravishing in the strapless prom style dress, and continued with the trend of back jewellery as she wore an elegant Chopard necklace down her back. A subtle smoky eye and pale pink lips completed her look, with a silver clutch, and dazzling drop earrings.
Jessica Chastain reflected the true Hollywood glamour in an Armani Prive gown which was strapless with a sequinned shimmer all over. Her flaming hair was striking against the dress, done in soft side-swept curls, and a red lip accompanied her look. Jessica also wore a 60s style Harry Winston pair of diamond earrings.
Reese Witherspoon stood out in the pale gowns with an electric blue look of a Louis Vuitton gown which had black accents on it, and was custom made. Like most gowns flaunted at the event, Reese's look was also strapless, and she wore her hair in soft waves with a sultry eye look. She was definitely one of the best dressed at the event.
Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson flaunted her trim frame in a Roberto Cavalli gown. The couture gown had a sequinned style on royal blue and a sophisticated thigh split. Peep-toe shoes, dangling earrings, and a cylindrical clutch were her choice of accessories along with her design. A sleek fringed hair look completed the actress's look.
Catherine Zeta Jones took a leaf from Jennifer Lopez's book and wore a Zuhair Murad gown at the event. The tan gown featured gold swirls all over, the actress appeared sultry and sensational. Styling was done with dramatic drop earrings, easy wavy hair, and a glamorous makeup look.
Model Stacy Keibler followed the second most popular look of the event, metallics, and wore a sultry Naeem Khan gown. The halter neck gown clung to her curves, and had metallic details on the chiffon fabric. The vintage and retro look was accessorised with Giueseppe Zanotti heels and Lorraine Schwartz earrings.
Helen Hunt supported Swedish label H&M's global green initiative and opted for a satin navy style from the label. The affordable strapless gown was paired with $700,000 worth of Martin Katz jewels including diamond bangles, stud earrings, and a lovely multi-strand look.
Jane Fonda appeared ageless and sizzled in a bright Atelier Versace gown which showed off her slender figure. The long-sleeved canary yellow gown was styled with Jimmy Choo heels, a bejwelled Jimmy Choo clutch, and checquerboard Chopard drop earrings. The shoulder pads and gold detail on the cinched waist reminded of the 80s Hollywood style.
Australian actress Nicole Kidman sizzled in a black and gold L'Wren gown, which highlighted her curves, and featured a small train with gold embellishments all over. The bold gown had a square-cut neckline and Nicole styled it with Fred Leighton drop earrings, and an updo with loose curls that framed her face.
