St. Ives is known for its wide range of skin care products including scrubs and lotions. Perhaps the most popular product from the label is its Apricot Scrub which is a hands on beauty product to scrub away dry flaky skin and to reveal smooth soft skin. Over the years the label has brought forth a variation of the Apricot Scrub and also introduced new ones. The St. Ives Even & Bright Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub is a new offering released in 2014. The scrub promises an even tone complexion and bright and radiant skin with regular use.
The scrub is hypo-allergenic and paraben free and contains 100% naturally derived exfoliants. It comes in a 170g squeeze tube with a flip-top cap that is easy to use. It claims to polishes away little imperfections and certainly lives up to its claim. The Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange is also tempting, and the formula of the scrub is smoother and creamier as compared to the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, and contains quite fine granules rather than the harsh ones.
Though the scent isn't too much citrusy which I would have loved, it is more of a mild kind. To use, wet your face and use a pea sized amount and massage well on the skin and neck. Rinse well and avoid contact with eyes. I have combination skin and use the scrub twice a week. My skin is instantly brighter and radiant, though it leaves the skin a bit on the dry side in winters so do use a moisturiser afterwards.
People with oily to combination skin will certainly love this, but dry skins stay clear of it and opt for the St, Ives Green Tea Scrub. The St. Ives Even & Bright Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub retails for around $4 and is easily available at all drug stores.
