The Body Shop Tea Tree Mask, Vitamin E Mask and Vitamin C Microdermabrasion Review
Flawless skin doesn't come easy. It requires ample care and love, and sometimes finding the right products becomes a hassle.
Good skin care requires a few basic steps: cleansing, toning and moisturising, and using a face mask once a week is a must to do for healthy and great skin.
I picked up three sachets of the popular face masks from The Body Shop and tried them out to see their results.
Since the full sized products tend to be heavy on the pocket, these one-time-use packs seemed a perfect choice for me.
I chose The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask for Blemished Skin, Vitamin C Microdermabrasion for Dull Skin and Vitamin E Skin-In Moisture Mask for All Skin Types.
Here's my take on the three face products:
The Body Shop Tea Tree Mask is meant for blemished skin. The Tea Tree range offers a soothing and cooling effect, and I had already been in love with their Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Wash.
The 6 ml sachet is meant to be used once and provides an instant cooling effect on the skin.
It helps absorbs excess oil, remove dirt, unclogs pores and gets rids of impurities.
Acne ridden skin can benefit from its soothing properties, though scars might not be removed after a one-time use.
The product can be used once a week after gently cleansing the skin. Apply a thick layer, let remain for at least 15 minutes and wash off.
Complete your regime with a gentle moisturiser from the same range.
The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion is a best-selling product from the beauty label, and promises to brighten the complexion.
It gets rids of dull and weary looking skin, and its micro particles and crushed garnet stones removes dead skin cells to give a glowing healthy complexion.
Just a one time use was enough to see the difference; my skin became smoother and more radiant and I received a lot of compliments
To use the Vitamin C Microdermabrasion, wet the face and neck, take a little amount and gently massage, leave on for five minutes and wash off.
The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost can be used after the Microdermabrasion as a moisturiser for further hydrating the skin.
This was perhaps my favourite from the three sachets I picked, and ended up purchasing the full sized product.
For instant hydration The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask works the best.
Its gentle formula increases the moisture level of your skin, leaving it hydrated, soft and supple.
With the goodness of Vitamin E, its sinks in antioxidants into the skin and brings back life into dull and dry skin.
To use, after cleansing the skin and making sure no dirt remains, apply a generous layer of the mask, I like to gently massage for one minute before leaving on for ten minutes, and wash off,
The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask is best for before the bedtime skin care routine, and can be topped off with the Vitamin E Night Cream for long lasting results for a healthy skin.
