South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel lived a model's worst nightmare when she took an unlucky stumble down the Givenchy Spring/Summer 2016 Fashion Show held during the ongoing New York Fashion Week.
The 26 year old Victoria's Secret Angel suffered the embarrassing catwalk mishap in front of a live audience, and scraped her knees in the accident.
Candice, though was almost unrecognisable with bleach blonde eyebrows, fell on her hands, but just like a professional supermodel regained her composure and continued her walk.
The model was dressed in a traditional Givenchy gothic ensemble paired with fringed lace booties when she lost her footing and tripped on the laces.
She was helped up by an audience member, and later laughed off the incident by sharing a snap of her bruised knees on Instagram, and said that she was suffering from a 'bruised ego'.
However unlucky the fall was, Candice sure was a stunner in her sheer lace dress styled with a bare minimum makeup and centre parted wavy tresses.
She also went braless for the runway, and flashed her black pair of undies in the see-through black lace dress.
