Best Anti-Aging Homemade Masks

A lot of treatments and creams are available in the market that claim timeless skin; but there is rarely any that lives up to its claims.

Here is a look at some of the best remedies out there for skin that is youthful and flawless, without wrinkles and blemishes, and the best part is that most of the ingredients are probably already in your refrigerator!


This is a super hydrating mask that gives radiance and brightness to even the dullest of skins, and keeps it refreshed and smooth.

1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1/4 cup aloe flesh
1/4 cup peeled and chopped cucumbers
1/2 lemon, juiced

Combine all ingredients in a blender and attain a thick consistency. Keep refrigerated for a few hours before use. Apply for 30 minutes and wash off.


Berries are known to be rich in antioxidants and vitamins, while walnuts are a source of Vitamin E, an anti-aging agent, and acts as a gentle exfoliator,

1/2 cup of berries (blackberries or raspberries)
1/2 cup walnuts

Blend the ingredients together until they reach a smooth consistency (a little water may be required to form a paste). Massage on to moistened skin for five minutes and leave for another ten minutes. Wash off gently and finish with a moisturiser.

Honey-Chia Seeds-Apple

This is a combination of super foods that work equally well for both the skin and the body. Apples help brighten and smooth the skin while chia seeds are power packed with nutrients and antioxidants, and honey is the best all rounder for skin.

2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp honey
1/2 green apple, chopped

Make a purée in a food processor of all ingredients (add water if needed) and let it rest for a while after forming a thick paste. Apply the mixture to dry skin, massage in circular motions, leave on for ten minutes and wash off.

Strawberry-Egg Whites

Egg whites promise wrinkle free skin and combined with the antioxidants of strawberries, this mask will lift and brighten skin that looks old and tired.

1 egg white
1/2 cup strawberries, mashed

Gentle mix the mashed strawberries with the egg white. Apply on dry skin and leave for 15 minutes or until it dries off completely. Wash off gently with cold water.


Bananas are full of anti-aging agents and Vitamin E and A. Paired with honey, this simple and easy to make mask makes the skin glow and gives it a smooth, plump and youthful feel.

1/2 banana mashed
1 tbsp honey

Mix both the ingredients well and apply on the face. Leave on for 30 minutes and wash off.
