When one hears Gwen Stefani's name in collaboration with Urban Decay, punk rock bright and bold shades come into the mind, but the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Spring 2016 Makeup Collection is a far cry away from that.
The new collection screams spring, and is perfect for those who love a natural look along with a bright pop here and there.
Offering lip-pencils, lipsticks, an eyeshadow palette, a blush palette and a brow box, the collection isn't truly extraordinary, yet makes us want to try out the shades.
The packaging screams bold, and reminds us of Gwen's personal style, and the whole collection was personally designed and selected by Gwen herself.
Shades of champagne, sheer nudes, and subtle pinks dominate the collection, though feisty red and fuchsia are not missed out.
The eyeshadow palette offers 15 full-sized shades (12 new) which Gwen stated were hard to pick out, and include both matte and shimmery.
Fans may be left disappointed as they would have expected funky and outrageous colours out of the collection, but Gwen herself flaunts just a slick of eyeliner and almost nude lids though her lip is usually stark bold.
An eyeliner would have completed this collection in the true sense.
The Gwen Stefani x Urban Decay Makeup Collection is available online and UD counters, and is a limited edition collection.
