Kate Middleton arrives to the Royal Ascot in a lace D&G dress
It is the day when racegoers dress up in their most colourful dresses and elaborate hats, and Kate Middleton didn't miss the fashion note as she arrived in a beautiful ensemble.
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, made her Royal Ascot debut alongside husband Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, and enthralled in a white lace creation from Dolce & Gabbana.
Kate's dress might be understated as compared to other looks at the Royal Ascot, but the Duchess stole the show in her elegant £3,450 dress from the Italian high-end label.
Paired with her white lace creation was a woven gold Jane Taylor hat, decorated with a cream rose and two feathers.
Kate also wore her sapphire and diamond engagement ring, pearl drop earrings. and sported a name badge, helpfully labelled: 'HRH The Duchess of Cambridge'.
Her Royal Ascot debut style was topped off with nude heels and a box clutch in a matching nude hue, and Kate was all smiles at the event despite the downpour.
The Duchess recycled one of her old Alexander McQueen ensembles for the Queen's 90th Birthday Official Celebrations.
