Why Did Calvin Harris Dump Taylor Swift?

The internet is going crazy as news spread like wildfire that one of our favorite celebrity couples, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, have decided to part ways after 15 months of being together.

26 year old Taylor and 32 year old Calvin (real name Adam Wiles) were first introduced to each other by mutual friend Ellie Goulding at the 2015 Brit Awards after-party, and began dating in March 2015.

The breakup was initiated by Scottish DJ Calvin and happened over last week, sometime after his car crash that left him scarred and bruised.

Though there was no drama involved, Taylor is said to be upset because her heart was more in the relation than Calvin's was.

Taylor and Calvin celebrated their one year anniversary with a romantic getaway in March, but things hadn't been working for the couple due to their busy schedules.

The romance just fizzled out, although Calvin loved that Taylor was different from any other girl that he had previously dated (exes include Rita Ora), and she was caring and had an innocent heart.

The two were more like friends than lovers, and in many areas of their relationship they were not compatible.

The couple's social circles were also quite different, but we loved their moments together such celebrating Taylor's Grammy win.

Taylor was quoted in Vogue April 2016 that her relation was 'magical' and she's taking things as they comes, but we guess she must be on her way to work in the studio now, working on a new album.
