Lancôme just added another powerful name to its roster of ambassadors, and this time it’s British actress and producer Vanessa Kirby. The BAFTA-winning star has officially been named the brand’s newest global ambassador, stepping into a role that connects both with her personal history and her evolving career.
For Kirby, the partnership feels surprisingly personal. She has shared that her earliest memories of Lancôme come from seeing the products in her mother’s bathroom growing up. The collaboration will see Kirby appear across several upcoming Lancôme beauty campaigns. She’ll front advertisements for the brand’s Teint Idole Ultra Wear liquid foundation and the newly introduced Shape Sticks. She will also join fellow ambassador Ni Ni in the campaign for L’Absolu Rouge Glaze Tintation, a next-generation lipstick designed to combine glossy color with skincare-inspired care.
If you know Kirby’s work, the pairing actually makes a lot of sense. The actress built a reputation for powerful yet emotionally layered performances, from playing Princess Margaret in the hit series The Crown to her Oscar-nominated role in Pieces of a Woman.
