Valentino Unveils Pre-Fall 2026 Campaign
Valentino’s Pre-Fall 2026 campaign blends art, emotion, and fashion as Alessandro Michele delivers a surreal and cinematic vision.
Valentino leans fully into mood and storytelling for its Pre-Fall 2026 campaign, and it doesn’t feel like a typical fashion shoot. It feels more like a memory you can’t quite place.
Under the direction of Alessandro Michele and captured by Johnny Dufort, the campaign unfolds inside Cy Twombly’s Palazzo in Bassano in Teverina. The setting alone does a lot of the work. Faded walls, classical sculptures, and soft, diffused light give everything a slightly surreal edge.
Model Apolline Rocco Fohrer moves through the space in a way that feels almost restless. Not posed, not static. There’s movement in every frame, whether it’s wind catching her hair or fabric shifting mid-step.
The clothes follow that same energy. A flowing red gown with a high slit brings drama without feeling heavy. A sheer violet lace top paired with a bold red bag creates a contrast that shouldn’t work but does. Then there’s a rich blue satin dress that almost glows against the pale stone interiors.
Elsewhere, the styling leans sharper. A structured leather jacket thrown over a delicate lace-trim slip adds tension. It’s soft meeting tough, polished meeting undone. Sequined pieces catch the light in a subtle way, while printed boots and statement accessories keep things from feeling too expected.
What stands out most is how nothing feels overly staged. The pieces are styled, of course, but they’re also allowed to breathe. The setting, the movement, and the clothes all blur together into something that feels lived-in rather than constructed.
It’s less about showing outfits one by one and more about building a mood you can step into. And once you’re in it, it’s hard to look away.
