Elle Fanning Wears a Floral Vivienne Westwood Suit in London

Elle Fanning has the perfect press-tour job. She’s playing Effie Trinket, the most dramatic dresser in Panem, so she gets to dress up as much as she likes. For The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping press tour in London on October 28, she picked a floral suit from Vivienne Westwood’s Spring 2026 collection, designed by Andreas Kronthaler. The suit looks like a garden that got a very good tailor. The fitted jacket is made from satin printed with soft, blurry roses and peonies in red, pink, cream and mauve. It has a plunging V-neck, a zip down the front, curved seams over the bust and a nipped-in waist, plus two big patch pockets at the hip. The matching pencil skirt falls to the calf and fastens with pearly buttons.

The decoration is where it gets wild. A red sequin rose sits on one shoulder, next to cream and gold flower appliqués. There are crystal bow brooches along the zipper, one near the waist and one lower down, and a rhinestone ribbon curls down one sleeve. Look closely and you’ll spot a green beetle-shaped piece on the other sleeve, too. It’s a lot, and every bit of it works.

Her styling picked up the red in the print. She wore a small red satin hat, like a tiny pillbox covered in a big bow, and finished it with a pair of pointed pumps in hot pink and red, with a heart-shaped toe in a different color. Elle kept her blonde hair in soft curls at the sides, pinned back into a loose low braid. Makeup was classic, with winged liner, rosy cheeks and a coral lip. It’s very old-Hollywood, with a Capitol twist.
