Sophie Turner Wears Black Louis Vuitton Suit at 2026 Ballon d’Or
Sophie Turner wore a black Louis Vuitton double-breasted suit and dark brunette waves to the 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony at London’s Palladium.
Sophie Turner skipped the gown at this year’s Ballon d’Or and went for a sharp black suit instead. The actress attended the 70th ceremony at the Palladium Theatre in London on Monday, October 26, as a Louis Vuitton house ambassador. She also joined Alan Shearer on stage to present the Player of the Year award, according to Parade.
The suit was the star. It’s a black double-breasted jacket with strong, structured shoulders, wide peak lapels and a cinched waist that gives it a slight hourglass shape. Two rows of coin-style buttons run down the front, each with a silver-toned design, and they look more like jewelry than buttons. Slim sleeves and matching straight-leg trousers that stop at the ankle keep the rest simple. It’s smart, a little theatrical and very easy to wear.
Her shoes were Louis Vuitton Luna pumps in smooth black leather. They have a pointed toe and a block heel with a contrast-textured finish, which adds a bit of warmth to the all-black outfit. She wore a gold Louis Vuitton Le Damier choker-style necklace and several rings, and that was all she needed. Her stylist was Emma Jade Morrison. The bigger surprise was her hair. Sophie ditched her usual ginger-and-blonde shade for rich dark chocolate-brown waves with soft light-brown highlights. She parted it in the middle and let it fall loose past her shoulders. The darker color makes her blue eyes pop, and her makeup stayed natural with a soft neutral lip. The night belonged to footballers, too. Harry Kane won the men’s award, and Alexia Putellas picked up her third women’s award. It’s the first time the ceremony has been held in London, and Parade reported that earlier editions took place in France.
For anyone who needs a refresher, Sophie is the British actress best known as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones and Jean Grey in the X-Men films. She’s now stepping into Lara Croft for Prime Video’s Tomb Raider, so this darker look has fans talking. Here’s her first look as Lara Croft.
