The name Balenciaga needs little introduction. Founded by pioneering Spanish couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga, the house represents a fashion legend. But it is designer Nicolas Ghesquière who has made the modern brand one of the most coveted labels there is. In his nine years as Creative Director, Ghesquière has created iconic collections season after season that often pay tribute to Cristobal’s ground-breaking archive and employ some of his couture techniques, but that also bring those designs headlong into the Twenty-first Century, and beyond. The Balenciaga blue, white and orange strappy flat sandal features cross over straps, two buckle fastening ankle straps and a gold trim around the sole of the shoe. It is priced at EUR 413,00.
