American model, actress and music artist Beyonce Knowles features on the cover of the March 2011 issue of L' Officiel France. Beyonce wears a gold Gucci dress for the cover and she looks glamorous as the "African Queen" which is a tribute to the legendary Nigerian musician, Fela Kuti. The theme of the editorial depicts amazing high end fashion and Beyonce truly inspires us and she also darkens her face voluntarily for the shoot to go with the African theme. Knowles dons the designs and jewelry of Gucci, Azzedine Alaia, Fendi, Pucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Rodarte, Dolce & Gabbana, Cartier, and Lanvin. Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, also creates a couture dress for the shoot. The issue celebrates L' Officiel's 90th year and African affluences in fashion.
