As a part of the Jimmy Choo 15th anniversary celebration, a capsule collection named "Icons" will be launched this Fall 2011 which will be retailed at $850 to $3785 and the sales of which will benefit The Jimmy Choo Foundation which aims at helping women-at-risk. Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon said, “These are shoes that have a personal story for me, or resonate with the customer.” Among the collection will be the “Feather,” which Carrie Bradshaw once famously lost on an episode of Sex and the City and “Fleur”, a pair of striped heels embellished with a large flower which Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon wore when she received her OBE from the Queen.
