Editorial: Shock of the New -- Elle UK

A majestic display of images lensed by the admirable photographer Matthias Vriens-McGrath has been compiled for the Elle UK August 2011 editorial. Entitled “Shock of the New”, this editorial features designer wear by Emporio Armani, Prada, Haider Ackermann, Chanel, Chloe, Gucci and D&G among others. Captioned as “This season you can be anyone you want,” these images are focused at just that. With each designer choosing a theme such as Armani's redhead "Diva" in fur or
Erdem’s “Heroine” in a violet satin, body-con lace sheath dress and silk and leather boots by Emilio Pucci. Chloe’s “Individual Urbanite” was particularly attractive wearing a colorful wool and leather poncho and smart wool trousers. Chanel’s charcoal and emerald green “Modern Feminist” is in a league of her own, with the cashmere hat by Alexander Wang adding the final touch to her. All of these bold stills have been styled intelligently by Anne-Marie Curtis with the model being Coco Rocha.
