New York Fashion Week 2011 - Preen Spring/Summer 2012

One of Britain's hippest labels, Preen, brought casuals mixed with formals in a very watercolour and monochrome palette for the Spring/Summer 2012 show. The designer duo of Thea Bregazzi and Justin Thornton worked their magic into wearable looks of block prints, florals and embroideries which were very creative. “We’ve been looking at flowers, the idea of Victorian glass houses and reading Virginia Woolf,” Justin Thornton said about the influence behind the collection. Very British, very neat and very sophisticated were the looks which the models added oomph to with their 'rolled to one side' hair styles.
