'Hello Country / Goodybye Nightclub' Stolen Girlfriends Club Summer 2012/13

Stolen Girlfriends Club's Summer 12/13 collection is a mix of playful prints and patterns with fun accessories.

The Summer 12/13 collection of Stolen Girlfriends Club, titled 'Hello Country / Goodbye Nightclub' sees a mash-up of floral print, chambray, crocodile embossed leather, and naughty nana crochet knits. The prints appear playful & fun, but scratch their surface and there's something a little darker lurking in the depths. As usual there is always a catch with their prints. This season the florals literally take you on a trip, consisting of opium poppies and datura flowers. For the menswear we see a meeting-point between sport & street. Sporty silhouettes in semi-precious fabrics, preppy knits with 'w.t.f' embroidered on the front offer a great juxtaposition, as with the American crew sweater with the snake & flamingo print. Also impressive is the range of accessories, all in the signature prints with leather trimming. Oh, let's not forget those puka-shell necklaces - definitely a nod to 90's surf-trash.
