'Rad In Plaid' Free People Lookbook August 2012

Free People takes on preppy cool, and brings a breeze that’s too cool for school. Classically preppy plaid, stripes, and button downs are getting their kiss of Free People, turning them into grunged-down uniquely fashioned looks. Textures and interesting layer mixing come into play with brushed jackets, wooly shawls, and fur vests making splashes in outerwear. Piled on top are some of Free People's jaw-dropping Fall accessories; the Joe Boot, a Jeffrey Campbell classic exclusive to Free People, makes its reappearance in a hand-studded version, and carry-all backpacks come in veins of fresh pattern and shape.
