American actress Quvenzhane Wallis became the youngest ever to be nominated for the Best Leading Actress Oscar award for her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild. The nine year old was five when she was selected for the movie, and received appreciation for her role. The pretty girl wore a David Meister frock, her third in recent days, at the event, which was purple and encrusted with stones at the neckline. Quvenzhane kept it age appropriate with a matching hair bow and dainty earrings and a bracelet. She also carried her signature puppy purse from Poochie & Co. over her shoulder, and completed the look with pink ballet flats.
