With the trend of smoky eyes going high and strong, Make Up For Ever brings its latest mascara, the Smoky Extravagant. Retailing at $24, the mascara boasts of a 4D technology that curls, lengths, and adds volume; and has a unique cone shaped brush with a rounded tip that separates lashes as you apply. While this might seem a a product to drool over, we were quite disappointed with it. The Make Up For Ever Extravagant Mascara clumps way too much. It is a nice dark pigment, but makes the lashes look spidery and fake instead of thick and luscious. The formula is thick and gloopy, and we couldn't see what was 4D about this mascara.  The brush seems comical and is difficult to use. We are sticking to the original MUFE Smoky Lash mascara. It might work if you pair it with a lengthening mascara. However, this just disappoints.
