Free People's August 2013 Lookbook

Free People is preparing for the fall with looks that are simplistic and cozy, while embracing the tomboy side of the brand’s bohemian roots. The August lookbook 'Bonsai Boy' features simple, but elegantly styled denim, plaids, and heavy knits with an emphasis on layering. As the fall air slowly creeps in, the 'Bonsai Boy' look is prepared with a multitude of denim combined with stripes, lace, duster coats, and ankle boots for a complete, every day look. The tomboy style becomes feminine with more relaxed pieces paired with ruffles, intricate lace, and delicate socks. Accessories are simple yet bold, featuring distressed leather belts, felt hats, and beanies, along with cozy, oversized scarves.
