Opening Ceremony went cool with neon shades, boxy silhouettes, and sporty looks at the New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 runway. The collection was inspired from Korean culture and the street racing culture, and was perhaps the most happening fashion show yet at the NYFW Spring 2014. A dozen sports cars zoomed on the runway at the start of the show, and we can't help but drool over the colourful prints and patterns. Monochrome checker board patterns inspired by racing flags, optical patterns on skirts, daisy prints and landscapes were seen on the designs of traditional Korean clothing including magoja (longer jackets) and jeogori (short jackets) and baggy pants called baji.
