Vera Wang's Spring 2014 collection is arsty with a sporty touch and offers a layering of textures with sports inspired silhouettes and bright shades of red, blue, and yellow.
Renowned designer Vera Wang got inspired from 'artsy meets athletic' and presented designs at the New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 that were all about motion and movement. Being an athlete herself, the looks from the designer were like second skin on the models and had quite a few sporty silhouettes such as full and cropped baseball jackets. Multiple fabrics were incorporated into one look and layering contrasted the textures. Airy chiffon looks, mesh, and mesh made the dresses almost couture, and the colour palette featured dramatic red, blue, and yellow.
