Valentino's Spring/Summer 2014 Haute Couture collection remained glamorous with opera inspired gowns with embroidered details and romantic silhouettes.
Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli presented a Spring/Summer 2014 Haute Couture collection inspired by the opera. The runway was influenced by ballerina-esque looks of tulle, heavily embroidered floor length gowns in dreamy romantic silhouettes. White and silver were the noted hues, while the high collar remained in vogue. Although the colour palette wasn't bright and stayed close to earthy tones, the designs were glamorous and elaborate with embellished details.
