Kate Backinsale attended the opening night of "Macbeth" in New York City, followed by the after party at the Park Avenue Armory, last Thursday, June 5th. The 40-year old actress looked stunning in her Monique Lhuillier lace strapless dress from the Spring 2014 collection. Keeping the rest of the outfit simple, with a pair of nude cage sandals by Casadei and a box clutch by Kotur, she was the definition of elegance. Her dark mani and pedi was the only contrast she needed for the night, along with her sun-kissed skin. To finish her look, she wore her long brown hair in a beautiful updo with loose girls, which flattered the whole look, and she kept her jewelry to minimal, by just wearing a couple of bracelets. Kate arrived without her husband, director Len Wiseman, and looked happy and relaxed as she headed into the party.
