Kate Middleton wears elegant lace dress to meet Chinese President

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Catherine Middleton greeted the Chinese President and his wife at an event to mark the second day of their state visit to Britain.

Mother of two, Kate was certainly the belle of the ball as she stunned in a gorgeous plum hue lace dress by Dolce & Gabbanna.

The elegant and sophisticated dress screamed royalty, and highlighted the Duchess's slim and tall physique.

Kate's dress featured a modest knee-length with sheer lace sleeves and a lace high neck, and was subtly sexy and chic in its own way.

Paired with her sensational ensemble were matching plum pumps and a box clutch, with her brunette locks styled in side-swept and charming waves.

Kate and William met other dignitaries too along with actor Jackie Chan amongst the guests, at the Lancaster House.
