Versace Resort 2017 Collection

Donatella Versace takes inspiration from the All-American road trip for her latest Resort 2017 collection.

Using neon colours with sharp black cuts accents, the first leg of her designs stay close to the classic New York style, but florals are used to evoke the sense of mid-west.

Donatella uses laser-cut leather jackets, silk shirts and dresses, with lines and graphics showing street-plan grids and architecture for the West Coast influence.

The City of Angels, L.A. was represented through urban grid and artsy patterns including a lace macrame look on a black panelled dress, styled with a sleeveless leather biker vest, with its edges in a graffiti inspired contrasting sun-bleached colour.

Hollywood remains the most glamorous aspect of Versace's Resort collection, with fluid sexy gowns that were on display in the showroom.
