To commemorate this festival, MAC brings forth a new makeup collection, full of vibrant hues, titled the MAC Chinese New Year 2017 Makeup Collection.
Featuring some of the cult MAC permanent products with a bold and dramatic packaging, the collection is every MAC lover and collector's delight.
Bold and luscious colours are seen, and the most favourite MAC products in a revamped eastern inspired packaging will be available for a limited period of time throughout January 2017, which marks the Year of the Rooster.
There are a lot of delicious goodies available in the collection, however, the MAC Year of the Rooster eyeshadow palette stands out.
It is a beautiful nine-shade palette, which offers universally flattering shades, that can be mixed and matched as per the look you aim for.
Lilac, grey, pink, ivory and soft beige tones are seen in the palette, and the shades are a mix of satin, matte, lustre and velvet textures.
Three of MAC's most popular lip colours, Peach Blossom, Russian Red, and Dangerous are included in the collection, which are packed in the gorgeous and intense red with the beautiful oriental inspired packaging seen in the collection.
Along with the eyeshadow palette and lipsticks, the MAC Year of the Rooster collection also brings a black Penultimate Eyeliner to add depth and drama to your eye looks.
Two pretty powder pink tone blushes in the shades Dame and Fleur Power are included in the collection, along with two soft taupe and grey-brown eyebrow pencils, and the collection is wrapped up with a Prep + Prime Natural Radiance gel lotion to control redness on the skin.
