The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, tried to stay as low-key as possible on her sister Pippa's Middleton's wedding to James Matthews.

Kate Middleton, 35, who will become the future Queen of Great Britain once Prince William takes over the throne, did not even serve as a bridesmaid upon fears of upsetting the bride.

The bride, who wore a gorgeous Giles Deacon gown complete with a classic veil, picked Prince George as the ring bearer and Princess Charlotte as one of the bridesmaids.

The Duchess of Cambridge stayed out well out of the limelight, and stayed sophisticated in a subtle peach Alexander McQueen maxi dress with a Jane Taylor fascinator and Kiki McDonough earrings.

Kate's bespoke Alexander McQueen creation featured a peplum waist, a v-neckline and elegant long sleeves, and the designer came as no surprise as her choice, as the Duchess herself wore the British designer's gown on her wedding, and in often seen in its evening wear as well.

Pairing the look with matching suede heels, Kate was seen controlling the excited crowd of little page boys and bridesmaids including her own children.

Her brunette hair was tied into a simple low bun, and a flush of peach on the cheeks and a matching nude lip colour completed the Duchess of Cambridge's look for her younger sister's wedding.
