Colombian designer Mercedes Salazar collaborates with Carolina Herrera for her Resort 2018 Jewellery Collection, and brings a statement, bright and playful array of designs.

Carolina Herrera's Resort 2018 Collection offered romantic dresses, while Mercedes played around with elements from the nature, and brought forth exotic pieces in vibrant hues.

While Carolina Herrera took inspiration from the gardens of her home in Venezuela, Mercedes Salazar got inspired by the floral and fauna of Colombia.

Made of light materials to match the light clothing pieces, Mercedes presented eye-catching earring, though they are oversized, but are quite light.

The colourful hoop earrings come in a variety of shades, and are available for $200 on Mercedes Salazar's website, while the eccentric blue macaw earrings are priced for $225.
