Meghan Markle cradles baby bump at the 2018 British Fashion Awards
Meghan Markle stole the spotlight at the 2018 British Fashion Awards as she lovingly cradled her baby bump.
The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance at the 2018 British Fashion Awards held in London. The pregnant duchess, who is expecting her first child with Prince Harry, looked stunning in a black one-shoulder Givenchy gown. In order to present the British Women's Wear Designer of The Year Award to Clare Waight Keller, who designed Meghan Markle's wedding gown, the duchess arrived to the event.
Meghan had the pregnancy glow about her as she cradled her burgeoning baby bump, and also showed off a dark nail colour, breaking yet another royal protocol. It is known quite well that the Queen dislikes a dark nail colour, calling it 'vulgar' and so the royal family prefers soft neutral nail colours, the Queen's favourite being Essie's 'Ballet Slippers', which Kate Middleton also wore at her wedding.
The Duchess was a beautiful and glowing sight as she paired her look with gold accessories including gladiator sandals and chunky Pippa Small bracelets, and topped off her style statement with a slicked bun hairdo.Wearing a nude lip and a dusky smoky eye, Meghan, who is due in Spring, was a vision, and gave ample maternity style inspiration.
