Superstar songstress Katy Perry and A-list actor Orlando Bloom got engaged after three years of on/off dating. The 34 year old star and the 42 year old actor took to their social media networks to share images and confirm the news, while Katy's mother also broke the news on Facebook, sharing pictures with the caption "Look who got engaged last night."
Katy and Orlando began dating in January 2016 before splitting in 2017, and dating again from April 2018. Katy's was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2011 while Orlando Bloom was married to Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013 and has an eight year old son Flynn with the model.
Orlando proposed to his lady love during a Valentine's Day party with Katy clad in an Alessandra Rich dress in pink paired with heart shaped earrings. The fuchsia pink midi dressed featured a cinched in waist with an embellished heart detail along with slightly puffed shoulders and embellished buttons on one shoulder.
In the pictures Katy is seen crying under a heart shaped arch while Orlando holds his fiance in his arms. Other shots have the couple with microphone, clearly addressing those present at the party. Orlando proposed to Katy with a vintage floral pink ring that matches Katy's whimsical and unconventional fashion style.
