The most talked about fashion show at the New York Fashion Week was the Savage x Fenty Spring/Summer 2020 Show. The lingerie show was everything Victoria's Secret dreams to be, and was the ultimate show of skin and curves, with body confidence leading the way. Led by a stellar performance by Fenty CEO Rihanna herself, the runway show also saw performances by Migos and Halsey along with Big Sean, DJ Khaled and others.
The whole affair was kept very private and mysterious as guests were not allowed to bring their cellphones inside the venue, and the show is to be showcased on Amazon Prime on September 20th. The first look from the Savage x Fenty show sees supermodels Bella and Gigi Hadid walking the ramp and even Cara Delevingne making an appearance, beside other spectacular models.
Models of all sizes ruled the ramp with pride and confidence, and lots of sheer, peek-a-boo designs with over-the-top embellishments and embroideries made up the collection. Bedazzling pieces, fur details and figure-flattering lingerie was showcased by the models, and the show was nothing less than dramatic and glamorous.
Lace teddies, plunging bra-sets, silky camisoles, sheer stockings and more were showcased by the models, and diversity and inclusivity was the theme that surrounded the show, and the two principles are also the core philosophies of Riri's venture into fashion and beauty.
