Jennifer Lopez is GQ's Icon of the Year 2019

Going places this year and cementing her superstar status even more, Jennifer Lopez has been announced as GQ Magazine's Icon of the Year 2019. The 50 year old songstress and actress, who created a stir this year as she walked the Versace Milan Fashion Week Show, recreating her icon sheer green Grammys dress, is photographed for the edition by Daniel Jackson.

Featuring on the cover in a black and white close-up shot, JLo is styled by Mobolaji Dawodu and showcases a Bottega Veneta dress and Bulgari earrings for the shot. The global star also puts her toned curves on show and for the rest of the shoot is seen in figure-flattering ensembles, including leather, from high-end brands like Tom Ford, Dennis Basso, Kiki de Montparnasse and more.

Talking to Jessica Pressler for GQ, who also wrote the article on which JLo's critically acclaimed movie Hustlers is based, JLo discusses the year she has had and what's next for her. From her upcoming Super Bowl performance with Shakira, to a new movie 'Marry Me' with Owen Wilson, along with turning 50 this year and getting engaged to A-Rod, there's no stopping the fierce and sensational Jennifer Lopez.
