Leading the glamour, top models walked the Burberry Fall/Winter 2020 Fashion Show held during the ongoing London Fashion Week. The Hadid sisters Gigi and Bella were seen on the runway, following their successful New York Fashion Week stint, joined by Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star Kendall Jenner, who chose to sit out the New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2020.
The British heritage fashion brand, that started out in 1856, has over the period of time become popular for its quality fashion designs, especially its signature trench, has seen a more modern twist under the creative direction of Riccardo Tisci. Appealing now to a younger audience as well, Burberry's latest collection on the runway included plaid pieces including corset inspired tops, feminine maxi skirts, ribbed knit dresses and even sporty-chic pieces.
Lots of subtle skin-baring designs were spotted on the runway and the Burberry models dripped in style, elegance and sophistication - terms that are associated with the Burberry brand. Graceful splashes of colour were seen on the runway while the colour palette mostly stayed autumn's preferred neutral, and sleek suiting pieces were also showcased.
Interesting outwear, fur details and leather outerwear was also spotted, along with designs that featured funky animal prints. Figure-hugging dresses were also presented on the Burberry runway, and the models sashayed down the catwalk with Burberry's glitzy and glamorous accessories including handbags, eyewear, footwear and scarves.
