Showing the world that age is just a number, 50 year old Jennifer Lopez delivered an electric and power-packed performance during the Super Bowl LIV half time show in Miami. The superstar songstress and actress hit the stage after Shakira, who also went saucy and fierce with her performance, and entertained the crowd with a medley of her most noted hits. Dancing and prancing, with lots of pole dancing and sultry displays of skin, JLo stunned as she sang her songs including Jenny From The Block, Love Don't Cost A Thing, and Waiting For Tonight.
Owing to her role in 'Hustlers', that has made quite the awards nominations this season, JLo defied age and pole danced during her performance, sang from atop a human pyramid, and even put on an adorable mini duet with her 11 year old daughter, Emme.
Held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, in front of a star-studded crowd that included celebrities rapper Jay-Z and his daughter Blue Ivy, Cardi B and models Emily Ratajkowski and Karlie Kloss among other, the Super Bowl LIV half time show was not one to miss out on, and also including special appearances by Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and Colombian performer J Balvin during the 12-minute performance.
Beginning by making her grand entrance from atop a glowing structure, before joining leather-clad backup dancers, JLo crooned to Jenny From The Block. Inspired by cheer leading, the medley then progressed to Ain't It Funny and the classic Get Right. Flanked by a group of hunky backup dancers, with lots of smouldering costume changes in between, JLo left little to the imagination, and seductively danced in next to nothing outfits.
J Balvin joined JLo on stage for a fun-filled performance of the hit Mi Gente, then Jennifer's daughter Emme took the stage, wearing white as she sat inside a glowing orb singing Let's Get Loud with an army of other young girls. Shakira played the drums as Emme sang the powerful track, then JLo joined her daughter on stage wearing a giant Puerto Rican flag adorned with feathers over a silver mini dress.
Fusing different genres of dance, doing a salsa dance on stage, while also performing pole dancing and cheerleading stunts, JLo and Shakira ended the show together with fireworks erupting over the Hard Rock Stadium.
