Revealing the cover of its latest edition, GARAGE Magazine features a topless and sensational Kendall Jenner. In a collaboration between Italian conceptual artist Maurizio Cattelan, and British-Ghanian fashion photographer Campbell Addy, the cover shoot takes birth under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief Mark Guiducci.
For the latest issue of GARAGE, the theme of which is 'Unhinged', artist Cattelan revisits some of his most iconic works, and showcases the American supermodel in the image of the artist's lifelike wax bust of American supermodel Stephanie Seymour, which is positioned to resemble a ship's figurehead. Sensual, with her hair let loose and her hands covering her bust, Kendall's cover is accompanied by a series of artistic shots inspired by Cattalan’s work.
The editorial images include a reinterpretation the artists most famous pieces including one in which he duct-taped his gallerist to a gallery wall, and the scene is re-imagined with the lithe model as the artist and photographer Campbell Addy assuming the role of gallerist. Other images include an array of pigeon-themed pictures, implying to the artist’s installation at the 54th Venice Biennale, along with various shots in which Kendall is suspended from the ceiling or mounted to the wall, as if she were one of the artist's taxidermied horses.
