Bringing forth yet another quirky and eccentric collection, Creative Head Jeremy Scott presented the Moschino Fall/Winter 2020 Collection at the ongoing Milan Fashion Week. Walking the runway were top models including Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Irina Shayk and more, and once again the Moschino catwalk was a glittering and star-studded affair.
Continuing her impressive array of appearances at fashion weeks this season, Gigi Hadid, 24, channeled Marie Antoinette with her ensemble complete with an elaborate wig and a 3D rose adorned design. The pastel mini-dress was completely covered in roses, and the American model's leggy frame was styled with satin pink corset boots and a candy-striped handbag.
In a nod to the18th century, inspirations from the Marie Antoinette era were evident in Moshino's entire collection. Gigi second look for the runway was a gold petticoat dress that was paired with a chic leather jacket embroidered with gold stitching.
Alluring and attractive on the runway was Bella Hadid as well, who sported a much more structured number. The 23 year old was dress in a fairy tale pink dress, which cinched in at her slim waist before falling out into a dramatic skirt. The brunette model's ensemble was styled with white PVC thigh-high boots and long evening gloves, adding to the costume's overall decadence.
Taking the runway by storm was Kaia Gerber, 18, strutting her stuff in a bright blue minidress, which had the same basket petticoat as Bella's, but differed with its long sleeves and lace cuffs.
Russian model Irina Shayk was a dazzling delight dripping in silver chains as she sashayed down the catwalk in an all-black ensemble which was emblazoned with the Moschino logo. Stella Maxwell and Joan Smalls too were a part of the show, and looked sensational in their statement Moschino outfits and extravagant accessories and hairdos.
Designer Jeremy Scott's Moschino Fall/Winter 2020 Show was closed with dresses made to look like layered cakes, a tongue-in-cheek reference to the phrase 'Let them eat cake,' which is often attributed to Marie Antoinette.
