Saoirse Ronan is a sight to behold as she turns heads on the red carpet in black and lavender layered gown

Best Actress nominee for her role as 'Jo March' in 'Little Women', Saoirse Ronan walked the red carpet for the 92nd Annual Academy Awards held in Hollywood California. The Irish actress, 25, did not seem to hit the right style notes at the star-studded glamorous event, and wore Gucci - lavender and black number with a plunging neckline and a flared ruffled detail at the event.

Showing off skin in her eccentric number, Saoirse was a miss on the red carpet, though she posed up a storm on the red carpet in her ensemble which featured a patterned lilac skirt as well. The four-time Oscar nominee had her blonde hair in an elegant updo, while also debuting bangs at the event, and topped off her style with dazzling diamond earrings and a statement ring.
