Louis Vuitton x Urs Fischer 2021 Campaign
See Louis Vuitton's latest twist: Urs Fischer reimagines the iconic monogram in a bold, artsy 2021 collaboration featuring chic street-style fashion.
Louis Vuitton's iconic monogram gets a deconstructed update by Swiss artist Urs Fischer. Collaborating on their second collection in 2021, Louis Vuitton and Urs Fischer's designs are modeled by rising star Mika Schneider. Co-starring with animated characters, including cats, also drawn by Fischer, the model shows off the chic new pieces of the collaboration. Urs Fischer is one of the few artists to update LV’s monogram, and the deconstructed print is seen in the collection on bags, footwear, clothing and accessories. The collaboration for 2021 brings forth monochromatic joggers, sneaker boots, skirts, trousers and jackets, along with accessories, and the designs are very much inspired from street style looks and Louis Vuitton's love for arts.
"Given the Louis Vuitton Monogram's ubiquitous status, I chose to hand-draw it in a really spontaneous way, almost like sketching it from memory," Fischer states about the collaboration.
