Moschino SS21 stuns with marionette magic! Meisel captures Hadid & Shayk as puppets in chic 50s couture—elegance with a playful twist.
Bringing yet another eccentric campaign, fashion house Moschino's latest Spring/Summer 2021 advertisements are an ode to marionettes. The Italian high-end brand's SS21 presentation was also done through miniature puppets made to look like renowned models, and the new campaign has the marionettes coming to life, decked in the latest Moschino best. Featuring a cast of Bella Hadid, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Irina Shayk, Julia Nobis and Achenrin Madit, the set of images has been photographed by Steven Meisel. Styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, the campaign showcases Moschino's 50s inspired haute couture ensembles, including tulle skirts, feather embellishments and fit bodices. The Moschino woman is elegant and gorgeous, and each design stands out for being sophisticated and glamorous. For beauty, the models are dolled up by hairstylist Jimmy Paul with makeup by Pat McGrath.
