Billie Eilish strips to lingerie for Vogue UK June 2021
Billie Eilish, a popular singer, recently made headlines for her bold photoshoot with Vogue UK where she posed in lingerie.
Bold and vivacious, Billie Eilis took a dramatic step and stripped to lingerie for the British Vogue, issue of June 2021. The 'Bad Guy' is seen looking absolutely gorgeous clad in a Marilyn Monroe inspired look, sultry in a pink and
flesh-colored lingerie look from Gucci, eons away from her usual baggy and oversized styles.
“It’s all about what makes you feel good,” the 19 year old told the magazine that describes Eilish as a longtime fan of 1940s and ’50s pin-up sexpots, and also added that the idea for the cover was hers.
“If you want to get surgery, go get surgery. If you want to wear a dress that somebody thinks that you look too big wearing, f–k it. If you feel like you look good, you look good,” said Eilish.
The Grammy winner is known for dressing head to toe in baggy clothing,
and has previously said that she didn’t want people to judge or sexualize her body,
though had said she might switch up her look when she hit adulthood.
Also known for her deep dark hair with green roots, Billie has now dyed her hair blond and said she was ready for them
“to suck” but now, “I feel more like a woman somehow.”
Talking to the publication she also added, “Don’t make me not a role model because you’re turned on
by me.”
Wearing an assortment of corsets throughout the shoot, Eilish told Vogue that keeping true to herself — including through her physical public persona — “is about taking that power back, showing it off and not taking advantage with it.
“I’ve grown so much and gotten so much better in my voice — it’s crazy to think about,” she told Vogue. “I think change is one of the best gifts in the world.”
Photographed by Craig McDean, Billie collaborated along with style director Dena Giannini for her shoot, and commissioned designers from Gucci to Alexander McQueen, Valentino to Burberry, on a series of custom looks, all including corsets.
Breaking the internet, Billie is no less than a dream, and the cover shot she posted on Instagram became the fastest picture on the platform to reach a million likes.
