Sabyasachi brings Indian elegance to H&M

Acclaimed and iconic Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee of fashion brand Sabyasachi, brings forth his collaboration with Swedish high-street giant H&M. Titled 'Wanderlust', the collection brings Indian elegance and charm to the fashion label, and offers rich and traditional Indian silhouettes and handcrafted textiles. Set to launch in India, the United Kingdom, and a few select H&M international stores, Wanderlust offers a complete womenswear wardrobe with accessories and menswear fashion too. The Sabyasachi Art Foundation has used Indian textile and print traditions for the collection, which is set to launch on August 12. Sabyasachi, which is a very popular design house in India, and creator of many celebrities including Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone's wedding ensembles, has brought comfort and understated charm to H&M, and offers lots of modern Indian wear with a classic twist, including patchwork kaftans, vintage block-printed saris and heirloom inspired brass jewelry.

"I am happy to announce the new date for the collaboration with H&M, as it gives us the opportunity to spread the Sabyasachi aesthetic to a wider audience in India and worldwide," the designer and brand CEO said in a press statement. "Due to the complexities of the Covid-19 situation, we had to put the collaboration on hold but I'm eagerly looking forward to launching this 'ready-to-wear' collection that will bring relaxed sophistication to everyday life in an understated yet glamorous style."
