DSquared2 Spring/Summer 2022 Milan Fashion Week Show

Dean and Dan Caten put on a stunning and romantic presentation for the Dsquared Spring/Summer 2022 Collection at the Milan Fashion Week. Staged as a proper fashion show, the collection was filmed in an abandoned warehouse, and is titled Fairytale Grunge. The inspiration of the collection was hanging out again, and the designs are laid-back, slouchy, grungy, chilly, frivolous, and free, but with a luxurious and high-end feel about them.

The designers merged together the concepts of tough/soft, delicate/strong, and brought forth an array of smart separates, with lots of feminine sheer tulle tops, shredded sequinned denim pieces for both men and women, tailored jackets in lasered camouflage, shirts and blouses with delicate florals, and vinyl skintight pants. Though with lots of moody and grunge elements in the collection, the overall mood and feel was sweeter than mean, with lots of tender and soft touches; even the men had tinkerbell touches about them.
