Gucci 100 Campaign Celebrates A Century of Gucci's Legacy

Celebrating Italian luxury brand Gucci's 100th Anniversary, designer Alessandro Michele unveiled the  GUCCI 100 Campaign. Bright and vivacious, with elements of both traditional and modern elements of the brand, the campaign is photographed and video directed by Joshua Woods, with art direction from Christopher Simmonds. Styled by Jonathan Kaye, Gucci 100 pays ode to the brand's century long legacy, and and puts together an eye-catching and appealing array of photographs for the campaign. The cast of the campaign includes Africa Mina, Cheikh Niang, Claire Delozier, Dede Mansro, Don Nahumuremy, Elisa Braga, Emily Kasten, Grace Epolo, Hanaka Hori, Ibrahima Diaw, Ibrahima Ndiaye, Iva Varvarchuk, J Moon, Kevin Demaj, Lamich Kirabo, Lamine Lo, Leon Beck, Li Shirui, Mavi Sioli, Panni Eberhardt, Pleun Keijsers, Solha Park, Tamsir Thiam, Tsukasa Kakiudo, and Vanderson Almeida, who are dolled up by hair stylist Paul Hanlon, makeup artist Diane Kendal, and manicurist Sylvie Vacca.

“In an additional reference to the constant dialogue between the brand and a society in perpetual evolution, the campaign’s finale reveals a scale model of the legendary “Seville by Gucci” Cadillac – a paradigmatic expression of the late ‘70s flair and a testament to the Maison’s forward thinking, which was produced in a very limited edition starting in 1978. Gucci has collaborated with Mattel to create its first official collectible with Hot Wheels – a 1:64th scale replica of the ’82 model of the Cadillac in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces worldwide.” – from Gucci
