Fashion brand Y-3 has unveiled its Terrex Capsule Collection for Fall/Winter 2021, that combines Yohji Yamamoto‘s renegade aesthetic with adidas Terrex‘s function. The collection is perfect for the outdoors, and is avant-garde. The waterproof designs include two jackets, and two colorways of Y-3 TERREX SWIFT R3 GTX sneaker. The brand also goes about its journey from the city to nature, and launches apparel, the Y-3 Rugged GTX Jacket and the Y-3 Melton GTX Down Parka – that give protection from the wind and rain.
“The Y-3 TERREX SWIFT R3 GTX is a hybrid sneaker-boot created with outdoors exploration at its heart. Designed to provide protection from the elements, the aesthetically daring silhouette boasts a waterproof GORE-TEX lining and membrane, as well as a Continental™ rubber outsole which offers traction in both wet and dry conditions. Rounding out the look, the sneaker’s multi-purpose lace and zip closure can be unzipped to reveal a neoprene gusset underneath. Bringing the brand’s distinctive aesthetic lens to the fore, the Y-3 TERREX SWIFT R3 GTX is made available in two bold colorways: Vintage White/Y-3 Black/Bold Orange and Y-3 Black/Bold Orange.” – from Y-3
